Enhanced with chilled grapefruit juice, this beverage balances bitter elements with bright citrus and rich espresso notes.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1.Chill a martini glass by placing it in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
  2. 2.Take a shaker and add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
  3. 3.Add 5ml of Campari to the shaker for a touch of bitterness.
  4. 4.Pour in 100ml of Oroma Espresso (from the can) directly into the shaker.
  5. 5.Add 15ml of chilled grapefruit juice to the mix.
  6. 6.Fill the shaker with ice cubes until three-quarters full.
  7. 7.Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to properly chill and mix the ingredients.
  8. 8.Remove the martini glass from the freezer.
  9. 9.Fine strain the mix from the shaker into the chilled martini glass to remove any ice shards.
  10. 10.Garnish with a grapefruit twist on the edge of the glass to enhance the bitter citrus aroma.
  11. 11.Serve immediately as a bitter and refreshing summer digestif.
