Vaalen's Vortex is a robust and layered cocktail featuring the rich depth of aged rum, the complex bitterness of Fernet Branca, and the smooth coffee notes of Oroma Carajillo.
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1.Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes.
- 2.Remove the coupe glass from the freezer.
- 3.Shake 100ml Oroma Carajillo with ice in a shaker until well chilled.
- 4.Strain the mix into the chilled coupe glass.
- 5.Add 30ml aged rum.
- 6.Slowly pour 10ml Fernet Branca over the back of a spoon to float it on top.
- 7.Lightly sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon over the drink.
- 8.Serve immediately.
