The Velvet Precipice Sour is a sophisticated cocktail blending the robust flavors of Oroma Espresso with a tart twist of fresh lemon juice and the sweet balance of simple syrup. The addition of egg white adds a velvety texture, creating a creamy, delightful drinking experience.

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1.Chill a highball glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes or filling it with ice water, then discarding the ice.
  2. 2.Pour 100ml of Oroma Espresso (espresso vodka) into a cocktail shaker.
  3. 3.Add 25ml fresh lemon juice to the shaker.
  4. 4.Add 20ml of simple syrup into the shaker.
  5. 5.Add a splash of egg white, approximately 10ml, for a frothy texture.
  6. 6.Shake the mixture vigorously without ice to create an initial foam with the egg white (dry shake).
  7. 7.Add a handful of ice cubes into the shaker and shake again, this time for cooling (wet shake).
  8. 8.Strain the mixture into the chilled highball glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  9. 9.Serve immediately, observing the thick, velvety foam layer on top of the sour cocktail.
Serving Suggestions

Serve in a chilled highball glass over ice for optimal enjoyment. Garnish with a lemon twist for a polished look and a refreshing aroma, and add a few espresso beans to enhance the coffee flavors.
